Job Description


· Process US payrolls weekly, bi-weekly and semi-monthly payroll

· Preparation and disbursement of payroll (checks and direct deposit) while ensuring proper payroll taxes & benefits deductions are deducted from paychecks.

· Process tax withholding payments to various entities.

· Document/create payroll process as needed.

· Process garnishment, child supports.

· Reconcile payroll related general ledger accounts.

· Reconcile payroll clearings.

· Month end/Year end closing activities.

· Benefits reconciliation after each payroll

· Submit HAS/FSA’s/ 401K funding.

· File requisite government reports.

· Review quarter wages and year end W-2 reviews.

· Support department in other activities as needed.

Qualifications


· Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

· 3 - 5 years of relevant payroll and accounting experience

· Intermediate to advanced excel skills (Pivot Tables and formulas), skills in using other Microsoft Office product.

· Experience with ADP and/or Quest IV payroll software a plus but not required.

· Analytical skills.
