The MP&L Supervisor role is responsible for:

  • Represent Grammer Fayetteville as a customer service contact to the customer. Manage all Customer concern as related to MP&L. Attend customer trainings and meetings
  • Work with Customers and shipping department to ensure releases are followed
  • Work with Customers to ensure good communication about parts, dunnage, prototype, service parts follow up. Follow up with customer portals and maintain supplier delivery and overall logistics scores
  • Analyze releases and create forecasts based on capacity for all parts
  • Manage the receiving process physical and in the ERP system
  • Manage the supplier/vendor follow up. Make sure suppliers are shipping to releases, reduce expedites from supplier, follow up with suppliers for hot issues, delays.
  • Ensure the proper use of JBA/F3 system functionality, adherence to standard work and processes.
  • Create and maintain department working instructions related to Customer Service and Receiving.
  • Work closely with Warehouse Material Handling and Inventory Supervisor to exceed KPI targets
  • Monitor inventory adjustments and manage cycle count program for components and raw material
  • Support plant safety rules. Responsible for S&OP reviews and capacity management
  • Support physical inventories and overall inventory improvements
  • Complete departmental annual performance appraisals
  • Other D&R as directed by MP&L Manager

What you will bring along:

  • Bachelor’s Degree - Preferably in Supply Chain Management
  • Five years of experience in MP&L
  • Strong computer skills
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment that allows for individual differences and provides for individual growth.
  • Ability to identify urgent or emerging problems, prioritize, develop alternative corrective actions and engage appropriate colleagues in the timely implementation of corrective actions.
  • Knowledge of automotive processes (EDI, PPAP, etc.).
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes and bills of material.
  • Experience with MRP and scheduling systems (MAPICS a plus).
