What we are looking for:
Grammer is looking for a Key Account Manager, Aftermarket to join our location in Hudson, WI. The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a team environment. This individual will have an opportunity to make lasting and positive changes in on our team!
Reporting directly to, and collaborating with, the Sales Manager - Americas. The primary goal will be to partner and build relationships with GRAMMER AG’s commercial distributors in North America, Canada, and Mexico. The product portfolio will include GRAMMER’s commercial offerings.
We seek a dynamic, team-oriented Key Account Manager that is both skilled in sales but possesses the technical acumen necessary to partner with key technical decision makers. The role will serve as the main point of contact between external Americas Aftermarket customers and the internal GRAMMER organization.
What you will be doing:
- Developing the strategy to target and partner with Aftermarket Customers. Defining of strategy and turnover planning.
- Generating quotations and price lists
- Provide leadership for direct reports, Aftermarket Sales Managers
- Monthly network meeting / information exchange / best practice sharing
- Develop product and price strategies across all accounts. Develop budget planning
- Organization of Aftermarket Dealer Meetings
- Attend regional and national trade shows
- Lobbying work at professional and governmental organizations (trade association)
- Coordinates administrative / cross-functional topics / customer communication
- Prepare and support presentations, financial data, sales data
- Identify business possibilities and working out market access strategies for target market and target customer. Considering concerns of subsidiary divisions for expanding the customer relationship including new customer acquisitions - coordination of a joint, unified, approach/ strategy
- Development and realization of sales planning/ business plan of the division to fulfill defined revenue, sales, and profit targets of several customers (profitable growth) in the regions and at customers
- Market and competitive analysis as well as participation in making decisions over new product definitions and their market launch
- Customer care, making regular visits to decision-makers of our customers to check customer satisfaction and develop and expand customer relationships (networking) as well as register customer needs
- Leading and controlling contract and price negotiations
- Securing that all orders to customers correspond to the group standard according to profitability and frameworks
- Defining trainings measures and further development programs for key accounts
- Motivating and leading the sales teams- talent management of direct report and staff (recruiting, performance management and development)
- Creating sales reporting and supervise target figures compared to actual figures and working out corrective measures when deviating
What you will bring along:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Business/Marketing
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Sales/Marketing
- Experience managing direct reports
- Demonstrated experience selling to commercial customers in the Automotive Industry
- Experience in development and expansion of an Aftermarket business, preferably in seating
- Professional selling and strategic marketing skills
- Key account management experience
- Demonstrated understanding of Increasing profit margins
- Negotiation skills
- Proven sales and marketing knowledge and a solid background in automotive products
- Experienced in multi-cultural working environments and developing communication strategies across regional and global networks
- Entrepreneurial and consultative sales approach
