The Human Resources Generalist role is responsible for:

  • Partners with employees and management to communicate various human resource policies, procedures, laws, standards and other government regulations.
  • Attracts, recruits and closes salary and hourly candidates to join the Grammer team.
  • Facilitates or provides training to the workforce.
  • Facilitates onboarding activities including orientation, tours and check ins.
  • Acts as an employee relations specialist assisting in investigation and resolution of employee issues.
  • Provides communication of benefit programs and drives resolution of issues related to employee concerns regarding payroll, benefits and other employee programs.
  • Maintains employee data in various systems and tools and performs monthly attendance and attrition reporting for the facility, issuing any corrective action requirements.


What you will need:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, or Business Administration.
  • 3 years experience working as a Human Resource Generalist
  • Knowledge of State and Federal laws and regulations pertaining to HR management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with timekeeping and attendance systems
  • Strong PC knowledge and skills: Windows, Word, Excel and PowerPoint


Qualifications that can set you apart:

  • Experience in a manufacturing setting
  • SHRM-CP or PHR Certification
  • Demonstrated strong business partnering skills
